Anton Nedyalkov is the best player of the 2020/21 season, Dominic Yankov is the best among the young talents
The Ludogorets player Anton Nedyalkov won the 20th edition of the Player of the Players poll. Most people voted for the defender.
The Ludogorets player Anton Nedyalkov won the 20th edition of the Player of the Players poll. Most people voted for the defender. All professional players from the First and Second league took part in the poll.
The poll is organized by the Bulgarian Football Players Association. It is one of a kind because players choose the best one among them.
“I am pleased to win this award. I thank everyone who voted for me and everyone at Ludogorets as well. Football is a collective sport and this award is the result of a team effort. When you’ve worked hard the whole season, the satisfaction is even bigger now. This is a real honor coming from my fellow players”, said Nedyalkov.
Last year’s winner - Dimitar Iliev and Spas Delev were second and third in the ranking.
Yankov was awarded as The Best Young Player. He surpassed Preslav Borukov and Victor Popov.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no award ceremony and the players will receive their awards individually.
