The management of PFC Ludogorets introduced a detailed anti-crisis strategy aiming to reduce the negative effect of the coronavirus outbreak aftermath on the club. The club has been affected by the situation due to operational difficulties and delayed payments by sponsors.

Since the state of emergency has been extended until the 13th of May, the club decided to temporarily dismiss the players of the first team in compliance with the National Crisis Management Squad’s advice. The player will have the right to return to their hometowns and countries. The date of their return to Razgrad will be announced on a later basis. Until then, all players will follow their individual training regimes.

All players, coaches, and members of the management board decided to voluntarily give up 30% of their paychecks in order to help the situation and to avoid having the need to decrease the number of employees.

The training camp after the championship ends will be in Bulgaria, which will cut the costs for the club. The coaches will do everything within their capabilities to help the players get ready for the European tournaments.

The club will rely on its budget to cope with the crisis, as the owners Kiril Domuschiev and Georgi Domuschiev are focused on sustaining their other business endeavors. Any additional help would violate the financial fair play.

The PFC Ludogorets management would like to thank the players and the coaches for their willingness to help in a time of need. They all showed they care for the club’s well-being.
