Players from Ludogorets amazed patients and doctors at ‘Nadezhda’ hospital in Sofia

A few days ago three of the most popular Ludogorets players – Marcelinho, Moti and the captain Svetoslav Dyakov, managed to impress the patients and doctors at ‘Nadezhda’ hospital in Sofia with their amazing football skills on a very unusual field

The players were featured in a very attractive video, created after the hospital took the initiative to support an important cause – supporting the increase of the birthrate in Bulgaria. The action in the video takes place in different sections of the hospital and the finals scenes are in the maternity wards. The players show off their skills and involve doctors and patients into the game. The hospital managed was glad to announce that none of the players were injured during filming, not even those who played for the first time.

‘It is not important if you are a natural born player. What is actually important is to be born at all!’ is the message carried by the video which was supported by the Ludogorets stars.

The initiative was created because the birthrate of the country is at a very alarming state. There were 25% less babies born from January until May compared to the same period in 2017, according to the data of the Health Care Ministry. The statistics show that the total population of Bulgaria will be fewer than seven million people by the end of the year.
