Ludogorets sign Brazilian defender

Ludogorets completed their first winter transfer by signing left-back Vinicius Nogueira. The Brazilian will strengthen the champions for the spring half of the season.

The managements of Ludogorets and Swedish club Halmstad, which owns the player’s rights, finalized the transfer today. Vinicius Nogueira successfully passed the mandatory medical examinations and fitness tests, after which he signed a contract with the “Eagles.” He is expected to join the team later this evening at their training camp in Belek.

Last season, the left-back played in Norway’s top division with Vålerenga, where he made 27 appearances and scored 2 goals. So far in his career, Nogueira has also played for the Swedish clubs Halmstad and Varberg.

In his youth years, Vinicius Nogueira came through the academies of Brazilian giants Palmeiras and Atlético Mineiro, as well as Ponte Preta.
