Ludogorets let PAOK slip away

Ludogorets and PAOK finished 3:3 in a very exciting match from the main phase of the Europa League. Petar Stanic opened the scoring for the hosts in the 33rd minute, but just six minutes later the former Razgrad star Kiril Despodov equalized. The captain of the national team assisted Volyako in the 48th minute, when the Greeks made it 2:1.

Ludogorets, however, did not give up and after goals from Verdon and Chochev — the latter with a header — completed a full comeback to 3:2. Unfortunately for them, PAOK equalized, with the young Mitоu scoring in the 90th minute. The situation around the goal was reviewed for a long time by the VAR officials for a possible out-of-bounds, but in the end the goal was allowed to stand and the match finished 3:3, giving Ludogorets a total of 7 points two rounds before the end.
