Elena Peeva, the coach of the Ludogorets women's team, was named one of the top managers in The National Women's League for the past season.The prestigious recognition of her professional qualities came during the first-ever awards for Best Coach in the State Championship, organized by the Bulgarian Footballers' Association.
Elena was selected based on votes from players in the women’s football league.
Sharing the podium with her were Valentina Gospodinova, coach of the Sofia-based NSA team, and Diana Dineva, who claimed the debut award for her leadership of Lokomotiv Stara Zagora.
Elena Peeva and her “Eaglets” showed remarkable progress in their performance over the past months.
They finished fourth in the standings, and after the final match of the season, Elena confidently stated that “The best is yet to come!”
