A player from Ludogorets Academy recorded a key appearance in the game of the junior national team U19 in a match against Belgium U19. Filip Gigov scored the only goal for the "tricolors" for the final draw 1:1.

The match was the first qualifier from Group 3 for Euro 2025. It was held in Plovdiv at the Lokomotiv Stadium. The Lions took the lead in the 16th minute through Filip Gigov. He scored the important goal with a header after assisting Konstantin Dimitrov after a cross.

The 17-year-old football player of Ludogorets is a junior national and top scorer of the Elite groups. In June, Gigov signed a professional contract with the club from Razgrad and is already logging playing minutes for the backup team.

Three starters appeared on the field in the match of the junior national team against Belgium U19, spreading their wings from the Eagles "nest". In addition to Philip Gigov and Konstantin Dimitrov, Alexander Marinov entered the game. Ryan Ivanov, also a player from the backup team of Ludogorets, was part of the composition of the Lions.

In the remaining two upcoming qualifying matches of group 3 for Euro 2025, the "tricolors" are to play against England and Lithuania.
