Dozens of children who are part of the four-day summer training camp of "Aurubis" and "Ludogorets" were very impressed by the exciting walk around the home of the native champion - Huvepharma Arena. The experience was memorable for the children, who with bated breath entered the "nest" of the 13-time consecutive champions of Bulgaria to take a walk through corners where an outsider rarely steps.

The chief scout of the Children's and Youth Academy of Ludogorets, Valentin Stanchev, showed them around the most attractive places of the stadium. The boys, aged 10 to 12, were accompanied by their coaches from the football club in Pirdop. The repeated exclamations of amazement  “Wow!” were only the initial undisguised impressions of the children of the extraordinary chance to touch the world of football "behind the curtains". The phones captured every moment of their every step - from stepping onto the grass of the pitch, which is astonishing in its scale and quality, to the last "goodbye" they said to the club's mascot - the eagle "Fortuna".

"I am happy to welcome you to the home of Ludogorets! This is the place where the players prepare for the serious battles, and thanks to the way of training, they have become the hegemony in Bulgarian football and the most successful club in the history of the native game in its extremely short new history!" With these words, Valentin Stanchev welcomed training camp participants in the stadium's press conference room. He told them that the people of Razgrad managed to achieve 13 consecutive championship titles, 8 times to enter the groups of the Europa League, twice in the Conference League and achieve two historic appearances in the Champions League. Moreover, all these achievements were achieved in a period of only 15 years. "This is something that very few teams in the world have achieved, and Ludogorets is the only one with similar success in Bulgaria. You are privileged to be in the home of Ludogorets!", emphasized Stanchev about the exciting experience.

The walk through the glorious past of the Razgrad club continued to a kind of display of the flags of famous rivals of the Eagles, including Hoffenheim and Bayer Leverkusen, Real Madrid, PSG, Liverpool, Inter, "Tottenham", "Valencia"... The children, armed with cameras turned on, walked around excited by the class of Ludogorets and the high level of the base. They virtually met a number of former and current football stars, whose photos accompanied them on the way to the most exciting place, namely the dressing rooms. And they seemed to still feel the adrenaline from the last football passions...

The coaches of giants such as Milan, Inter, Ajax, Roma, Red Star, Partizan and many others have walked along the same corridor, the little guests found out. They were reminded that the main part of the stadium was constructed 12 years ago, and the new tribune - 6 years ago. "Literally, in a few days, the work on the construction of the new stand will begin, after which the stadium will be completed with its full capacity and will be able to meet all the requirements of UEFA, and why not host the final of the Europa League and the Champions League," he explained Valentin Stanchev to the children.

They couldn't wait to touch the champion portrait of Mozzi from the memorable August evening 10 years ago, when he became a hero for his team and for Razgrad in the meeting with Steaua, putting on the goalkeeper's gloves. The kids were only disappointed that they didn't get to meet their idols live on the pitch. But they realized that desire alone is not enough to reach their level. "He who trains only occasionally has a tough road ahead of him. Persistence is the key to success!", the chief scout of the Ludogorets Academy motivated them with the condition that they should not stop learning in order to be more thoughtful on the pitch, make faster decisions and ultimately become better footballers.

The new, second electronic scoreboard on the field also showed them moments that gave the boys a glimpse into the professional world of the football family.

The coaches of the 18 children at FC Pirdop, Velislav Pastushki and Plamen Minchev, also experienced the journey through the glorious history of Ludogorets. "There is nowhere else where children can touch such a high level of football. Absolutely everything is top notch! Our graduates are impressed by what they saw and the opportunity to learn from the Academy's specialists. Training in the "Eagles' Nest" complex is useful for them to touch the magic of professional football and if they succeed, in years to come they will be like the players in Razgrad", explained Plamen Minchev, who leads young football players to the camp in Razgrad for the eighth grade another year. He shared his observations that interest in the summer initiative has grown over the years and with each year the number of children wanting to join has grown. And those who participated as children are now grown men, but still keep the memory of "the tale of Ludogorets".

For the final, another dream came true for the little guests of Huvepharma Arena and the club's mascot - the eagle Fortuna had already woken up from its afternoon nap. After sealing the memory with the majestic bird, the boys said a final "adios" to it and left the stadium even more motivated to pursue their personal professional ambition - to one day play at a high level like the Ludogorets footballers.

We remind you that 60 children aged 10-12 learn football skills during the ninth edition of the summer training camp of "Aurubis" and Ludogorets. The training sessions of the participants from Zlatitsa, Pirdop, Plovdiv, Markovo and all over Razgradska, led by the mentors at the Ludogorets Academy, take place from September 2 to 5 in the Eagle's Nest complex.
