Ludogorets II is the only unbeaten host in our professional football

Ludogorets II won against Belasica 2:0 in Petrich in the last XXXIV round and finished in fourth position in the Second League. The Champions' talents have recorded a fantastic achievement as they are the only unbeaten host in our professional football in the 2022/2023 season.

The Eagles played another strong match, but they did not come to success without problems. The hosts also had their chances, but the incredible interventions of the goalkeeper Damyan Hristov frustrated them and allowed Todor Zhivondov's team to grab the three points in the final.

The first half ended scoreless.

The people of Razgrad struck after the break. Valentin Tsvetanov shot past Kiril Georgiev in the 59th minute, after a wonderful execution of a direct free kick. In the 94th minute, Ioan Yordanov scored for 2:0 and consolidated the success.

We had an excellent season, with a particularly strong performance in the spring. I dare to say we had our not-so-good moments, but we didn't have a weak game. Our achievement of being the only unbeaten host in Bulgarian professional football during the season is unique. For the second time, we finished in fourth position in the ranking and we showed that when you work professionally with young people, they grow quickly and pay off with strong results, commented head coach Todor Zhivondov after the end of the meeting.
