Ludogorets qualified for the semi-finals of the Bulgarian Cup after winning against Spartak (Varna) 2:1 in Razgrad. However, the success was marked by the injury of Todor Nedelev, whose condition is not serious. As is known, the captain of the Eagles, Anton Nedyalkov, is out of action for a month.

It should be noted that after about a month of injury treatment, Bernard Tekpetey and Aslak von Witry started for the Eagles. However, the news in the starting line-up was different. It is about the debut of Caio Vidal with the team from Zagreb.

Otherwise, in the 10th minute, Jakub Piotrowski tried his aim, but his shot was blocked by a defender of Spartak Varna. The first more dangerous opportunity for the visitors came in the 14th minute when Rodney Anthuis deflected for Leroy Mikels, who shot from a clear position but Simon Servant parried. In the return attack, Igor Thiago was found with a long pass in the penalty area of Spartak. The Brazilian controlled and shot, but Ivan Dichevski reflected.

After a cross from Jakub Piotrowski at the far post in the 23rd minute, Igor Thiago controlled and shot. Dichevski, however, had closed the corner and reflected with his foot.

The Falcons shocked the Eagles in the 25th minute. Rodney Antui then burst down the left wing, Gustavo Nonato, in his attempt to clear, brought Alexander Belousov alone against Simon Sluga and it was no problem for the Moldovan to convert.

Immediately after that, Ludogorets threw himself into attacks. Right-wing Bernard Tekpetey curled the ball for Todor Nedelev, who was left alone around the penalty spot and shot but wide in the 28th minute. After that, Nedelev again failed to score his first goal with the green team.

In the 38th minute, Ludogorets equalized. Jakub Piotrovski took it from Ivey and found Caio Vidal in the penalty area with an outside volley. The latest new addition to the Eagles took over with his left foot, turned and scored beautifully with his right - 1:1.

In the 52nd minute, Romesh Ivey made a mistake, the ball ended up in Caio Vidal, who, however, missed his second goal of the match. Shortly after, Ivaylo Petev received bad news. Todor Nedelev got an injury. He went out on his own. In the 63rd minute, Spas Delev put the ball on Tekpetey's head. He would have, but Ivan Dichevski kicked out.

Ludogorets made a complete turnaround in the 76th minute. Denny Grupper cut in from the left, a Spartak Varna defender cleared, but right at the feet of Manuel Shaw. The Angolan took control calmly and with a beautiful shot from the draw he did not leave any chances to Ivan Dichevski - 2:1.
