Ludogorets defeated 4:0 Arda

The spring football season has already started. Ludogorets achieved a 4:0 win over Arda. All goals were scored before the 39^th minute. Arda’s gatekeeper prevented a few more goal situations.

This was Ante Simundza’s first official match as Ludogorets’ head coach. The former Arda player, Spas Delev, is now one of Ludogorets’ players.

Pinas sent the ball to Sotiriou in the 7^th minute, and the latter scored the first goal. The second goal was a fact four minutes later. Sotiriou passed the ball to Cauly, who left no chances to the gatekeeper Vasilev. Cauly missed a chance to add another goal seconds later.

Ludogorets continued their domination and added a third goal in the 24^th minute. Plastun sent the ball to Santana, who scored easily. Despodov almost scored in the 35^th minute, but Vasilev saved. The playmaker tried the same in the 39^th minute and passed the ball to Show, who added the fourth and final goal.

Arda tried to fight back and Rumenov almost scored, but Ludogorets’ gatekeeper saved. Show was injured and replaced by Yankov. Sotiriou added a fifth goal in the 57^th minute, but according to the VAR system, the goal was canceled due to an offside. Sotiriou demanded a penalty kick later, but the VAR system denied his request.

Rick Jonathan entered the pitch in the 67^th minute. He replaced Delev, who was applauded by the audience. Yordanov almost returned a goal, but he sent the ball above the crossbar. Jonathan tried to score as well, but Vasilev saved.
