A Croatian player joins Ludogorets

Ludogorets welcomes one of the three Croatia national football team gatekeepers, Simon Sluga.

Ludogorets welcomes one of the three Croatia national football team gatekeepers, Simon Sluga. The club management and Luton Town FC finalized the transfer on Monday. Sluga is already in Belek, Turkey, where he underwent medical examinations. He has already signed his contract and will be introduced to the media soon.

"I am happy to continue my career in a club with high ambitions and a good reputation in Europe", Sluga said.

Simon Sluga used to be a Jadran Porec youth player, after which he transferred to Juventus, Verona, and Rijeka. He stayed at the latter club for six years. Sluga became the champion of Croatia in 2017. His career includes time spent at Pomorac, Lokomotiva (Zagreb), and Spezia. He was part of Luton Town since 2019, where he played in 81 matches.
