The Slovenian defender Zan Karnicnik joined Ludogorets after the champions and Mura finalized the negotiations and the player underwent all medical examinations in Belek.

The Slovenian defender Zan Karnicnik joined Ludogorets after the champions and Mura finalized the negotiations and the player underwent all medical examinations in Belek. Karnicnik received the #21 shirt from the club president, Mr. Alexander Alexandrov.

“Welcome, Zan. I wish our newest player success at Ludogorets”, said Alexandrov.

“This transfer is a huge step forward in my career. I am thankful to Ludogorets for trusting in me and inviting me over”, said Karnicnik.

He knows his new team because of the Ludogorets – Mura matches he has played in.

“I am happy to play alongside great players under Simundza’s guidance. I have worked with him in Mura”, Karnicnik added. He became the #1 player in the 2021 Slovenian championship.

Karnicnik is the third new player to join the club after Rick Jonathan and Spas Delev.
