Pieros Sotiriou: I am happy to join such a well-organized club

Ludogorets introduced their newest addition – Pietros Sotiriou. The ex-Astana player signed his contract on Friday.

Ludogorets introduced their newest addition – Pietros Sotiriou. The ex-Astana player signed his contract on Friday. The new coach Valdas Dambrauskas introduced the player and said that this transfer was really important for the club because Sotiriou would add even more class to the club”.

- Pieros, what do you want to say as Ludogorets’ newest player? 
- I am happy to become part of such a big and well-organized club. I will do my best to help the team win trophies. I want to thank everyone who made this transfer possible.

- Which are your strong points?
- I work hard and when I play, I like to keep the ball in my possession. I am here to help the team win the tenth consecutive title.

- Do you know some of your new teammates and what do you think about the coach?
- I don’t know any of the players but we will meet soon. I know some of them are legendary. I am familiar with Valdas Dambrauskas’ style because I already trained under his guidance.

- You have a lot of competition in your position on the pitch here. How do you feel about that? 
- It is nice to have competition because I am here to prove myself.

- When will you be ready to play?

- I think I am but I am currently following an individual training regime. The coach will decide when I will be ready to play.
