The Ludogorets coach Pavel Vrba gave an interview for the club TV prior to the Ludogorets vs Beroe match.
- Is the team ready to stand against Beroe?
- The next matches will be a serious test for us. Beroe shows good skills and I think Ludogorets will perform even better throughout the rest of the championship. I believe we will win the rest of the games.
- Ludogorets showed great improvement against Botev compared to the previous game?
- There was a difference in our performance. Unlike the game against Arda, we missed a lot of goal situations against Botev. We were very active and the match was dramatic. We literally won in the last seconds.
- Do you encounter problems with the players for this match?
- The only problem is Iliev’s injury. He is still recovering and he even started training. All other players are healthy. They will be ready for the match.
- Ludogorets is 12 points ahead of the competition. Is this a comfortable distance for you?
- Ludogorets always sets the highest purposes possible. We are happy to have such an advantage but we still have five more matches ahead and we should not feel comfortable.
- What is your comment on the changes in the European tournaments?
- The coronavirus pandemic changed many things including football across the world. We have a lot of work to do and we need to be prepared. Fans will be delighted for sure.
- Is it better or worse for Ludogorets to qualify after a single match?
- I cannot say because it depends. Let’s wait for the draw and we will comment later. I still think the home game will have an advantage always.
