Ludogorets lost to Akhmat

Ludogorets lost their third trial game this season. The team played in a total of five games since their camp in Belek began. This time, Akhmat (Grozny) defeated the champions with a 1:0 score. The guest team took the win after an arguable offside situation. The Akhmat coach Shalimov has a serious background as a Spartak Moscow player. He has also played in Italy in teams such as Inter, Napolu and Udinese.

Pavel Vrba used the 4-1-4-1 team composition again, Cauly and Biton joined Badji as playmakers.

Badji passed to Bakalov in the 10th minute and he tried to score but hit the woodwork instead. Swierczok kicked the ball six minutes later but it went outside the gate. Ikoko received the ball from Bakalov and passed to Tchibota but the keeper prevented his goal attempt. Cauly passed to Tchibota in the 28th minute and Swierczok received the ball but Gorodov saved again.

Ludogorets dominated the field when the second part began. Cauly almost scored but the ball flew near the gate. The Brazilian tried again later but failed. Moti was close to scoring a goal with his head later.

Akhmat created an attack in the 76th minute but Stoyanov showed his class and saved. The winning goal was scored four minutes before the end. Roshi received the ball and despite there was likely an offside situation, he passed to Ponse who scored.

The last trial game for Ludogorets is on Thursday against Slovan (Bratislava).
