An amazing and historical win happened tonight! Ludogorets achieved a great win against the Hungarian champion – Ferencvaros and is still the leader of the H group with a total of six points and an 8:1 goal ratio! This was a well-deserved compensation after the team dropped from the Champions League qualification round.

The coach Genchev used the same players who defeated 5:1 CSKA Moscow except for the keeper. Iliev replaced Renan who was injured.

Ludogorets took the lead in the 39th second. Wanderson passed to Nedyalkov who redirected the ball to Lukoki who scored the first goal. After the initial shock, the home team tried to compensate. However, Keseru almost scored in the 16th minute after Forster passed the ball to him, but the keeper saved. Lukoki passed to Wanderson in the 28th minute but Dibus intervened again. He stopped Keseru once again a few minutes later. Lovrencic passed to Boli in the 35th minute but the situation did not end with a goal. Tokmak Nguen’s kick was off the target just seconds later. After a corner kick, Grigore had the chance to score but he chose to pass it instead.

The second goal was scored in the 40th minute after Marcelinho was fouled. Forster was confident and kicked the ball as hard as he could, leaving no chance for the keeper to save. Even the coach Genchev was surprised to see this happen! Grigore received a second yellow card from the Polish referee Frankovsky and left the field.

Moti replaced Marcelinho in the 46th minute. The Hungarian team tried their best in the second half. They had their best chance to score in the 55th minute after Isael passed to Tokmak but Iliev saved. Isael tried again but he was not able to score. Lukoki left the game a couple of minutes later due to an injury. Goralski replaced him and immediately after that Nguen tried to score again but Iliev did his job as expected.

After a corner kick in the 65th minute, Wanderson passed to Forster who scored with his head for 3:0! Cicinho was injured after that and Ikoko replaced him.

No Bulgarian club has been able to achieve even an even score against the Hungarian team to date. Lokomotiv (Sofia), Marek, Levski and CSKA have all been defeated by Ferencvaros, as well as Ludogorets.
