Five new coaches joined Ludogorets Academy. The news was announced by the director Radoslav Komitov. Ivo Gradev, Stefan Slavov, Emiliyan Petkov, Dimitar Stoykov and Dobri Dobrev will help the young talents’ development. Komitov considers the new recruit to be perspective young professionals. They were selected after a two-stage audition in December 2018.

Ivo Gradev has worked for the youth academy of Slavia and he even won a few championship titles with various age groups. He also has experience working with youths aged 14-16 in China.

Stefan Slavov used to work for the academy of Dobrudzha (Dobrich) where he managed the first team and the U17 and U19 formations. He has played in a total of 150 games in the A group of the Bulgarian championship.

Emiliyan Petrov’s experience comes from his work for the academies of Levski and Levski-Rakovski. He used to be an assistant-coach of the first team of Lokomotiv (Mezdra). He played in the professional league as part of Sliven.

Dimitar Stoykov has worked in the U.S before and he managed to receive all his professional licenses there. He has worked with children aged 9-14. Stoykov also has a trainee period at Barcelona as part of his resume.

Dobrin Dobrev is a keeper coach. He used to be a keeper and has a lot of games in both A and B groups of the championship as part of Kaliakra. He later became the keeper coach in the same club.

The specific positions of the new recruits will be officially announced on the 7th of January.
