Ludogorets U19 defeated 4:2 the 2017 Romanian champion Universitatea (Craiova) in a trial game in Ragrad.

The game consisted of three halves, each with a 35-minute length. This way the coaches were able to let all their players join the action.

Radoslav Komitov’s boys made the score 2:0 in the first half after Mitkov and Valchev scored. There were no goals in the second half, but the third one was when both teams scored two goals. Ludogorets added two more goals after Babaliev and Budinov scored, making the score 4:0. In the end of the third half the Romanian players were able to score two goals as well.

‘The game was very good and it featured some quality action. The boys played on a high level and I am pleased with their performance. We are looking forward to go on a training camp in Borovets. We will use the football fields in Samokov and Govedartsi’, said Komitov after the game
