Ludogorets U16 started the friendly games of the winter training with a classic 3:0 beat over the Romanian Petrolul. The match was played on one of the pitches in the Eagles' Nest complex.
In the first half, Dimcho Nenov's boys had their opportunities to open the scoring, but they failed to realize them. Naturally, the two teams retired for the break with a scoreless draw.
After the resumption of the play, the Eagles opened the scoring through Nasko Yanev. He scored with a shot from distance. Alexander Angelov scored the other two goals for the Romanians.
"I am satisfied as a first friendly game. The inspection was useful for us. We met a serious opponent and it's good that we managed to beat him convincingly", commented head coach Dimcho Nenov after the final whistle.
