Yordanov is another talented player who came from the Ludogorets Academy and joined the first team. The midfielder is Ludogorets II’s captain and already has entered the pitch five times as part of the first team. Dambrauskas positioned Yordanov as a left-wing-back as well. The player gave an interview for the official club website.

- Ivan, you are the next academy talent to join the first team. What does that feel for a 20-year-old player?
- It feels great to be next to the best players. This is every player’s dream come true. I am happy to experience this thrill.

- You are the Ludogorets II captain. Where is the difference between the two teams?
- It is harder in the first team. There are bigger goals ahead, as well as ambition. The players in the First league are high-class but it is not easy in the Second league, too. We proved we are a tough team. It is not about ranking; it is about performance.

- How do you explain your great performance in the Second league?
- We all have ambition and we play with a lot of energy, we put in all the effort we can. Some of my teammates also entered the First team.

- Is Ludogorets close to the tenth title?
- It is not far but not near, either. We need to keep our cool and I believe we will reach the tenth tile. We will succeed!

- Which player is your idol?
- I don’t have one. I learn from everyone I can.

- What is your favorite team?
- I like Barcelona the most.
