Ludogorets lost and the rematch with Basel

The Swiss Basel won against Ludogorets with 2:0 in the rematch of playoff for the groups of Champions League. Goals were scored by Frei and Degen.

The Swiss Basel won against Ludogorets with 2:0 in the rematch of playoff for the groups of Champions League. Goals were scored by Frei and Degen. Than with total result 6:2 Murat Yakin’s players are in group phase of the most commercial European club tournament. The Bulgarians will continue in Europa League and the draw for the both tournaments is on Friday.

The first ten minutes of the match were on level pegging but then was a goal for Basel. After a corner kick, Frei opened the result for Basel – 1:0. In the 15th minute Ivan Stoyanov tried to score from a direct free kick but Sommer cleared to corner. In the next minute Sio hit the post after Stoyanov. In the 33rd minute Bezjak took the ball from the right side, but his kick passed really close to Basel’s post. Till the half-time there weren’t any goals.

The second half-time the game continued to be on level pegging. In 50th minute Diaz tried to score, but Stoyanov caught the ball. 7 minutes after Djaka tried to score again but the ball flew close to the goal. In the 65th minute the substitution Espinho stroke far from the Sommer’s goal. In the 79th minute Philippe Degen doubled the goals for the homes after the Bulgarian defense couldn’t make a good organization in the making of the corner and that permitted to Basel to score.

Till the end, the game was playing and in result Basel took yours in the both games between both teams.
