Ludogorets played a great match and drew 1-1 away to Lyon in their final game of the Europa League main stage.

The "Eagles" started the match actively, with good chances missed by Rwan and Caio Vidal. What followed was a masterclass by goalkeeper Sergio Padt, who expertly saved shots from Tolisso, Chaleta-Car, and N'Euama. The last action of the first half came from Aguibou Camara, who made a brilliant run through the center and fired a shot, but Lyon's goalkeeper barely saved it.

The hosts took the lead in the 54th minute. Son made a poor backpass to Padt, Micautadze intercepted it and found Tolisso, who couldn’t miss. Ludogorets had a chance to equalize quickly, but Caio Vidal, left one-on-one with Lyon’s goalkeeper, couldn’t get past him. In the 70th minute, Lyon came close to a second goal, but Padt made a solid save after a shot from Maitland-Niles.

Ludogorets got their goal in the 78th minute. Dinis Almeida joined the attack, took advantage of a pass from Rwan, and leveled the score at 1-1.Right at the end of the match, Aguibou Camara could have given the Bulgarian champions the win, but Lyon’s goalkeeper saved his team.

Thus, Ludogorets remains unbeaten in France, having drawn 2-2 with the giant PSG in 2016.
