Ludogorets recorded a prestigious success in a friendly match – 1:0 against the 22-time champion of Slovakia Slovan Bratislava. The only goal was scored by Ivaylo Chochev after an hour of play after a combination between Delev, Nedyalkov and the scorer.

The match was delayed by 35 minutes due to an accident in a tunnel, which sent the bus of the Slovaks into a big traffic jam. For the second time in a row, Todor Nedelev started a match as a starter, who recorded 2 assists in the first control - 5:0 over Slovenian Primorie. Slovan Bratislava's team featured the names of former Tottenham player Kevin Wimmer, ex-Slovak internationals Vladimir Weiss, who is the son of the Grana coach, as well as Robert Mack, as well as Georgian Jaba Kankava.

In the first minutes, both teams acted more carefully, exchanging one shot each. In the 12th minute, Armenian Tigran Barseghyan broke well from the right and got into position, but was not blocked at the last moment. In the 25th minute, Pedro Naressi surprisingly found himself in a good position, but was unable to get a good shot. Five minutes later, Aslack Von Witry got the ball onto the head of Rwan, who fired well but onto the post. In the 32nd minute, Todor Nedelev shot dangerously from a direct free kick, but Slovan Tarnovski's guard saved with one hand. Just a few seconds later, Nedelev tried again from a foul, but again the guard shot. By the end of the first half, Nedelev shot once more, this time from play, but inaccurately.

At the break, Georgi Dermendzhiev replaced 8 of his players, leaving only his three midfielders in the game - Chochev, Naressi and Nedelev. It was Ivaylo Chochev who opened the scoring after a very nice Bulgarian combination. Spas Delev passed to the left to Nedyalkov, he looked for Todor Nedelev, who failed to play and Chochev with his left foot did not leave any chances to the guard of Slovan Bratislava - 1:0 in the 60th minute. Seven minutes later Tissera made it 2:0. However, the goal was disallowed due to a non-existent offside, because first Anton Nedyalkov brought the ball back, and then it was played by a Slovan defender who brought Tissera out and he made no mistake.

In the 78th minute, Georgi Dermendzhiev received bad news. During a sprint attempt, Spas Delev suffered a sprain and was immediately replaced by Rai Nascimento. It is yet to be determined how long the experienced footballer will be out of action.
