Ludogorets beat one of the leading teams in the Czech Republic - Sigma Olomouc with 3:1. A strong game was played by Bernard Tekpetey, who was literally unstoppable in the first half, scoring and assisting Kwadwo Duah.

Razgrad team were without Claude Gonsalves, who has a slight injury, but started the match well and realized the first serious danger. It was Tekpetey who created it. The #37 player broke through the middle, beat two opponents and fired a left-footed shot into the near corner. Sigma's goalkeeper failed to react quickly enough and the ball ended up in their net. Ten minutes later, Sigma equalized after a stalemate. The Eagles' defense was unconcentrated by a cross from the right. The ball was deflected at the near post and center forward Lukasz Julis could not miss from close range.

In the 33rd minute, a Sigma player freed up space in front of the Ludogorets penalty area and shot on the ground. Sergio Padt made the catch.

In the counterattack, the 12-time champions of Bulgaria regained the lead. Tekpetey ventured down the right flange and entered the penalty area. He found Kwadwo Duah. The ram had positioned himself on the border of the goalkeeper's field and played with one touch - 2:1. It was the Swiss's third goal in his third game in 2024.

In the second half Ludogorets completely dominated. Tekpetey could have scored a third goal in the 60th minute. In the 65th, Jakub Piotrowski found himself in a great position, but missed the goal.

Shortly after, Pedro Naressi suffered a minor injury, and even the medical team entered the field. Fortunately for Georgi Dermendzhiev, the Brazilian continued. Shortly after, Aslack von Witry was injured after being badly kicked by a Sigma player. The Norwegian was replaced by Spas Delev. Otherwise, the foul was committed by Todor Nedelev, whose shot was saved by the goalkeeper of the Czechs. After the ensuing corner, Dinis Almeida headed in, but again the Sigma keeper was in his place.

Logically, Ludogorets also scored a third goal. It was the work of Rick Jhonathan, who in his typical style cut in from the left and left no chances for the Czech goalkeeper with his right foot.
