After three consecutive losses to Slavia, Lokomotiv (Plovdiv), and Botev (Vratsa), Ludogorets showed class once again. The team defeated 3:0 Slavia and gained some confidence before the Champions League match against Buducnost.

The coach Pavel Vrba included the new player Higinio who showed his skills. 20-year-old Yankov also joined the team. Santana is another new addition who played in this match.

Higionio was able to create a situation in the 3rd minute but missed the gate. Tchibota tried the same after that but also sent the ball out. Cauly’s next goal attempt was interrupted by Steryakis but he cleared the ball straight into Cicinho’s foot who scored easily.

Ludogorets’ second goal was canceled because Moti was position behind the guest team’s defense. Santana kicked the ball from the foul point but the gatekeeper saved. Terziev was also injured in the 63rd minute and Grigore replaced him.

Tchibota passed the ball to Tekpetey in the 71st minute and he almost scored but the ball hit the woodwork. Tchibota scored a couple of minutes later from the foul point.
