Ludogorets turned the tables on Lokomotiv

Ludogorets achieved their tenth win in the efbet League so far. The team turned the tables on Lokomotiv (Plovdiv) and managed to win with a 2:1 score. The champions are now nine points ahead of the second team overall. The game was intense and the champions’ experience allowed them to take the win.

The guest team had an aggressive style from the beginning. Iliev was able to save the first situation, but then Ojbolt scored in the 11^th minute. Marcelinho made the score even just four minutes later with an amazing goal that was similar to the one against Maribor in the Europa League playoffs. Lukoki added the second goal in the 32^nd minute. He took advantage of a mistake made by Lokomotiv’s defense.

The home team created a few attacks as soon as the second half began. Anicet tried to score but he did not reach the gate. Tomasevic fell down in Ludogorets’ penalty zone in the 69^th minute but then referee decided not to pause the game. A couple of minutes later Iliev saved another goal attempt by Ojbolt. Moti scored in the 85^th minute but the goal was cancelled due to a non-existent offside situation.
