Ludogorets defeated 1:0 Dunav in Ruse in another game of the efbet League. The champions are back on top overall and Levski is behind them with one point short. The two teams will meet in Razgrad next Sunday.
Keseru scored in the 23rd minute after Lukoki’s attempt to score was blocked by the keeper who kicked it back, and the Romanian stole the ball.
The home team created a situation in the end of the first half when Ahmedov’s goal attempt worried Iliev.
The teams were equally matched during the second half and there were hardly any gal situations. Stanislav Genchev decided to give Marcelinho, Lukoki and Keseru a break to preserve their energy for the upcoming game against Ferencvaros. Goralski, Jorginho and Tchibota replaced them. Tchibota almost scored in the 83rd minute but the keeper saved.
The home team had the chance to make the score even in the added time, but Ahmedov missed his chance after he kicked the ball from the foul point.
